A show business wedding at Villa di Maiano

Surrounded by lush gardens Villa di Maiano was the special setting for this amazing wedding in Florence.

With its bohemian feel we can easily say it has been so far one of our favorite luxury weddings. 

The villa itself seems to exist in a peaceful world of its own immersed in the green of the hills overlooking the city of Florence. Among the rooms on the ground floor of the Villa there is the Red Lounge where James Ivory shot some of the scenes of the famous movie “A Room with a View”.

Both actors, bride and groom really clicked with us and our creative spirits, the entertainment industry vibe was incredible!

The romantic ceremony was accompanied by harp and vocals, filled with emotions we performed a soft version of Iris by Goo Goo Dolls surrounded by the tear filled eyes of family and friends.

Our amazing Jazz Trio took over for the aperitif were soft and sophisticated notes stroked our vibrant guests for the evening. A relaxed cocktail in the amazing gardens. 

After dinner The Italian Swing and Jazz Band took the stage, bringing on the groove with Italian swing songs and international vintage hits. All the guests filled the dance floor with non stop moves and laughter from the beginning to the end. Having our complete Musica Evento team meant we could truly deliver a performance that matched the incredible vibe of this special day.

We had an amazing time and we cherish beautiful memories of this couple and the colorful and emotionally filled event we had the honor of being a part of.

We must mention chef Duccio Prussi @duccioprussi, whose culinary creations were so extraordinary that our team was blown away by the quality, it was the best vendor meal we’ve ever experienced at an event. Thank you for taking care of us!
